Given the current state of Central Florida’s housing market, it’s fitting that the most-expensive home ever sold in Osceola County is not meant to be lived in.

The 15-bedroom vacation home at 1297 Grand Traverse Parkway in Reunion shattered the record for the county’s most expensive home when it sold earlier this month for $11.7 million. Of course, the eye-popping price tag is more than just the result of a hot market. The home sprawls over nearly 20,000 square feet and includes amenities like a spa, a gym, a movie theater and an indoor basketball court.

Villa Isole, as the home is known, includes a multi-level saltwater pool outside and a piano bar inside. Long dining room tables can seat tens of guests served from a commercial kitchen. The home has a piano bar for after-dinner drinks and a conference room to get down to business.

The home’s buyer and seller were both represented by TJ Cosgrove of Reunion Realty. The buyer has not yet been revealed.
